Kobe Bryant was drafted in 1996 with the No. 13 pick from the Los Angeles Lakers. At this time he was only 17 years old. In his rookie year he only came from the bench and never started. But, after his first season the legacy started. He played together with the Center Shaquille O’Neal. In 2000 he won his first NBA championship and the year after he won it again and he reapeted it again the year after. He was 18x Nba All-Star 1998 and from 2000-2016 and won 4 times the All-Star Game MVP. In the year 2008 he won the award Most Valuable player. He was 2 times NBA scoring chamoion and also won the Dunk contest and many many other awards. He gave himself the nickname Black Mamba and he was also famous for his Mamba Mentality because he never gave up and worked very hard for his greatness. He was called one of the greatest players the games have ever seen. Bryant was also considered one of the most complete player in NBA history, with career averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. He was the first player in NBA history to have at least 30,000 career points and 6,000 career assists and was one of only four players with 25,000 points, 6,000 rebounds, and 6,000 assists. His 81-point performance against Toronto in 2006 was the second-highest in NBA history. His career was full of greatness, hard work and love for the game of Basketball.
